World Youth Day 2013, stylized WYDRio2013, will be the 14th international World Youth Day, a major international Roman Catholic event, focused on faith and youth. The host city of World Youth Day 2013 will be Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil also the city will host the 2016 Summer Olympics, as announced by Pope Benedict XVI at the end of the closing Mass of World Youth Day 2011 in Madrid, Spain at Cuatro Vientos Airport. The events are scheduled to be held from 23 July to 28 July 2013.
